Design & build contract for a 400 sq metre state of the art children facility. The contract included the full Greenfield site development.

The new childcare facility promoted by the community opened its doors in May 2009 with capacity for 80 children.

RoanKabin were awarded the contract to design & build a purpose built two storey sixteen classroom school building & complete development of a green-field site.

The new school building compromised sixteen classrooms, resource rooms, multipurpose room, library, special needs room, staff room, toilets & administrative offices.

Originally to be of conventional build, Pat Shanley & Associates elected to use off-site construction to expedite the programme & reduce costs.

Due to rapidly increasing pupil numbers at Scoil Mhicil Naofa, Athy, additional classroom space was needed.

The school had used RoanKabin buildings in the past, and had always been impressed by the build quality of the RoanPlan Modular Classrooms; once again they trusted RoanKabin to deliver

After monitoring the success of the Saplings School in Kilwarden, Co Kildare, another special needs school was proposed for the Kildare region, this second school was planned for Kilcloon area, just north of Maynooth.

In 2005, Fewer, Harrington & Associates were appointed architects to the project & immediately looked to expedite the building process.

Prior to this requirement, St Senans had used RoanKabin buildings during the redevelopment of the existing school, and had been impressed by the build quality & standard of service of offer.

When these additional resources were required, the Principal contacted RoanKabin, who responded providing three RoanPlan Modular Classrooms & RoanKabin Jackleg Resource Building for hire.

Seven permanent classrooms & a multi-purpose room formed a major part of the redevelopment plan for the school & were original to be of conventional build.

But to expedite the programme John Fleming Architects opted for the use of off-site construction over traditional build and project was sent out to public tender.

In 2000, a group of parents in the North Kildare/West Dublin areas came together to establish an organised campaign to pressurise the Government to provide children with special needs with appropriate education.

The goal was to establish a child centred service for the local population, based on early intervention which is universally acknowledged to be essential in improving the outcome for children with Autism.

In 2004, to underpin the School's vision for the future, Castle Park launched an ambitious investment programme designed to create a world class educational facility.

The re-development commenced in June 2007 with an estimated completion date of September 2008, during the construction phase Castle Park were required to relocate the entire school to temporary accommodation.
