Prior to the start of the 2008 season; Bray
Wanderers were required to undertake upgrading
of certain facilities to meet new stringent
UEFA directives. One of the major challenges
facing the team was the
redevelopment of the existing club dressing
rooms.
RoanKabin have a strong relationship with Bray having
supplied changing room facilities & various buildings
to the club in the past & once again the club
entrusted RoanKabin to deliver a 200sq metre dressing
room within a 6 week period.
Solution:
RoanKabin supplied a state-of-the-art RoanPlan Modular
building to accommodate home & away team dressing
rooms, male & female referee’s changing
rooms, physio treatment rooms & storage.
Internally the requirement was for aesthetically pleasing
yet robust finish that would meet the rigorous demands
of everyday use. With this in mind RoanKabin combined
durable materials with bright colour schemes to ensure
both expectations were fulfilled.
The internal specification included:
- High impact pre-finished plasterboard to all main
walls,
- Moisture resistant white-rock wall lining in shower
rooms,
- Heavy duty welded vinyl flooring in the main areas,
- Altro anti-slip flooring c/w coved skirting in shower
rooms & wet areas
- Dual immersions feeding anti vandal pump showers
in home & away team ....dressing rooms
- Robust yet modern toilet cubicles & vanity basins
- Bench seating in all changing rooms
- Vapour proof fluorescent lights
- Oil filled radiators
An external cladding of plasticoated steel complete
with large Upvc high level windows & doors finished
in Bray Wanderer’s famous white & green
livery makes the building instantly recognisable.
